Go for It

The average life span of a human is around 70-80 years. After that, you die. You go to heaven, or hell or something. I have no idea.

A lot of people walk around as if they’re going to comeback.

They pursue things that are going to make the most money, even if it won’t make them happy.

They’re afraid to quit jobs that doesn’t give them any growth or satisfaction because it pays 100,000 pesos more per year so they can get that shiny new iPhone and 2 out of the country 4 day trip.

Look, I understand that we have “responsibilities.”

We need to pay for medical bills, daily expenses, etc.

But shouldn’t you give your dream a chance? Shouldn’t you give your passion a shot?

Should you “go for it” and see what happens?

It’s not a zero sum game. Just because you take a chance on a passion for 2 years and failed doesn’t mean you can never go back to your “cushy, safe 9 to 6 job.”

If anything, you’ll learn from it and you’ll come back as a better person from that experience.

Also, why not work at it part-time?

Work at your 9 to 6 job and then work at your passion from 7pm-12am. That’s enough time to do some damage (and by damage I mean progress). So go for it. Give yourself a chance to become happier.

And why do I keep saying that you should “go for it” anyway?

Honestly, I just hope that you’ll say the same thing to me.
