Note: I’m not here to berate you, I also experience most of these problems. If anything, these are my advice to myself.
If you hate your life right now, then you may want to read this article.
It’s going to be short, I promise.
The question is why does your life suck right now?
I think I may have some of the reasons.
#1 – You Hate Your Job
Find something that feeds your drive. What is the line of work that:
A – You’re Good At
B – People Are Gonna Pay You For
Work at your “dream job” part-time after work from 7pm-12am. Do this until you replace your income or you have at least 6 months of money to survive without a paycheck.
#2 – You Don’t Have Supportive Friends or Family
Fuck them. I don’t know what to say so fuck them.
Or maybe fuck you. Maybe your actions are not matching what you’re saying.
Maybe you keep saying that you will finally start that business, follow that dream, or whatever. But your action says, “I’m a talker and not a doer.” In that case, fuck you. You deserve to lose.
#3 – You Keep Trying to Impress Other People
You buy things you don’t need so you can impress people you don’t like. SMH.
#4 – You’re Insecure
I’m insecure, everyone’s insecure in some parts of their lives.
It’s just a matter of not being insecure enough to get the things done that needs to be finished.
Like talking to a potential client, being lively enough in an interview, being brave enough to come up to that girl at the coffee shop (Red, I’m taking to you).
#5 – You’re Ungrateful
Nothing pissed me off than my ungrateful self.
Sometimes, you have to remind yourself that there are people who would kill to be in your position right now.
#6 – You Use Too Much Social Media
What you see on Social Media isn’t real life. People ain’t always happy and traveling. People actually go to work.
#7 – You Have Financial Problems
Read these books:
The Millionaire Fastlane
Rich Dad, Poor Dad
#8 – You Have Health Problems
I can’t suggest a solution since my health is pretty crappy too.
#9 – You Have Mental Problems
This is a serious issue. Talk to a professional about it. Don’t keep it all to yourself.
Also, take a walk outside every day.
#10 – You Stop Being a Student
Just because you finished college doesn’t mean you should stop learning.
Stagnation is the enemy of progress.
So keep reading, keep taking online courses, attending seminars etc.
The more you learn, the more chances of winning. JK.
Actually not kidding…
#11 – You’re Not Progressing (Financially, Emotionally, Relationships etc.)
Aim to improve 1% a day.
Do anything. Any action that may take you closer to your goals.
You don’t have to save 30% of your income your first month.
Start with 3%, then increase as you go.
You don’t have to stop drinking Coke forever. If you drink once a day, then maybe ditch it during Sundays. Then you improve every day.
