My Love for the Spurs (Part 2)

I’m writing this part after seeing the Spurs lose Kawhi Leonard to an injury when he stepped on Zaza Pachulia’s feet. They were also up by 23 before Kawhi Leonard fell down.

They lost game 1 of Western Conference Finals.

And It hurts … like a motherfucker.

That’s how much I love this team.

To show my support to my team, here are more reasons why I love the Spurs.

Gregg Popovich, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili & Tony Parker. For the lost 15-20 years, these guys have been the cornerstone of Spurs success. 5 Championships since 1999. That’s pretty pretty good. And even when the players got older, they we’re still able to continue excellent play because these guys are willing to sacrifice their personal stats to be able to compete as a team. I will forever be thankful for these 4. They’ll all be on NBA’s Hall of Fame, I’m 100% sure of that.

SMART ORGANIZATION. You won’t get knuckleheads when it comes to the Spurs. They’re smart in drafting players that nobody really talks about.

Tony Parker – 28th Pick

Manu Ginobili – 57th Pick, 2nd Round

Kawhi Leonard, 15th Pick – Now an MVP Candidate and Top 5 Player (2017)

Dejounte Murray – 29th Pick, this dude can replace Tony Parker in 2-3 years.

Danny Green, Tiago Splitter, Dewayne Dedmon… And a whole lot of players that nobody really cares about.

They plug them into the system and capitalize in all their strengths.

ALWAYS CLASSY. In wins or in losses, the Spurs are always the top organization when it comes to being class acts. You won’t catch them talking trash to other teams. Heck, most of the stars barely even talk. They play with so much grace and humbleness whether in wins or defeat. A class act, through and through.

Alright, I’m not sure how many more of these posts I will do but this is definitely not the last.
